The GreenLight™ range of food safety tests provide easy, same-day detection and enumeration of bacteria in food samples by measuring bacterial oxygen consumption (bacterial respiration) and equating oxygen consumption to microbial load.
As bacteria in the test sample grow and respire they deplete O2 which is detected as an increase in the GreenLight™ probe signal above the baseline level. The time required to reach this increase in signal is used to calculate the cfu/g of the food sample, based on a pre-determined calibration.

- GreenLight Model 960 for high throughput:
- GreenLight Model 930 model for high throughput: up to 432 samples (9 carousels) per day
- GreenLight Model 910 model for lower throughput requirements: 1 - 50 food tests per day
